Our beautifully hand-crafted Inked Bamboo Flutes have a design drawn between the mouth hole and top finger hole of the flute. Linda first engraves the design into the bamboo wood, then hand inks each design using full color permanent inks. We individually tune each Inked Bamboo Flute to a major scale and they play a range of 1 1/2 to 2 octaves. Our flutes have a very mellow tone and are fun for playing along with other instruments. All of the Bamboo Flutes and Walking Stick Flutes made by Serenity Bamboo are transverse flutes. They are played sideways like a metal concert flute.

A free instruction booklet explaining how to play a side-blown bamboo flute is included with each flute purchase. We also offer a play-by-number songbook containing 50 simple songs and a cloth flute bag, each for a small additional charge. Flute bag color and design may differ.
