All of our handmade flutes are transverse flutes; this means that they are side blown flutes, played similar to a concert metal flute. We Individually Tune our handmade inked flutes to a major scale and they play a range of 1 1/2 to 2 octaves. These are well-tuned flutes that are excellent for playing along with other instruments. The inked design is located in a band around the top of the flute, between the mouth hole and the top finger hole. Linda first engraves each design, by hand, into the flute; it is then inked, by hand, using full color permanent ink. Finally, small Austrian crystals are inlaid into the design to give the flute a bit of sparkle. A durable waterproof finish is then applied to the exterior of the handmade flute for protection.
A free instruction booklet on how to play our handmade flutes is included with every flute purchase. We also offer a 50 song play by number book for $3.00 and a cloth flute bag for $5.00. Flute bag color and design may differ from the photo shown above.

Shipping and Handling charges are included in all of our prices. We Unconditionally Guarantee our walking sticks, canes and bamboo flutes for one full year. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, for any reason, return it to us for a replacement or refund.
