How We Tune Our Bamboo Flutes

We individually concert tune (A 440) each of our Bamboo Flutes and Walking Stick Flutes to a major scale, and they play a range of 1 1/2 to 2 octaves. Our flutes are tuned to a diatonic scale (Do, Re, Mi, Fa, Sol, La, Ti, Do).

Our bamboo flutes are not ‘perfectly’ tuned, but they are well tuned flutes and able to be played along with other instruments. Great for jam sessions! Over our more then 45 years of making and selling bamboo flutes we have developed techniques of making well tuned bamboo flutes and offering them at a reasonable price.
